BlogAdda is a Web platform for Indian bloggers to showcase their blogs and attract more readers.

The founders used to read a lot of blogs over time, and found that there wasn't a single resource to discover blogs of our interests. And this is how blogadda.com was born. It is the Indian blog portal.

The goal of the site is twofold one is blog owners can promote their blogs and another is the site audience can uncover new blogs that may be of interest to them. Users can rate the blogs, comment on blogs and uncover new blogs by using tags and the ‘Most Popular’ and ‘Top Rated’ modules.

All the blogs are tagged and Blog Readers could easily find blogs of their interest by using the tagcloud. You need not have to register to search for blogs and to read the recent posts. However you need to register to add comments. You might find BlogAdda useful if you are looking to promote your own blog or discover blogs on various topics.

For those wishing to add their blog to the network, you need to create an account and add your blog’s url to the site (along with other info). You cannot create a blog on the site itself, you just specify the blog’s URL which could be hosted anywhere. That factor by itself makes the site fall short of being a complete blogging network; it works essentially like an aggregator of sorts.
