NalandaU is an online video library which serves as a free virtual university with the largest collection of videos in over 300 topics ranging from Quantum mechanics to iPhone programming to business law to running your startup.

The platform also plans to roll out an educational platform to connect students and educators where students can get personalized tutoring services for specific lectures they are interested in.

It aggregates the education content (videos and text) around the web and provide several learning tools. The students can watch the lecture videos, take notes, connect with their FaceBook friends, take tests, etc. All the videos and educational material at the moment are free.

There is so much of educational content in YouTube EDU & other video sites, Open Courseware, and the web, but they are severely underutilized. The goal of this web portal is to package top quality educational materials together in easily accessible ways along with social tools to make education fun, free and engaging.

It also has a section on career advice (like writing a resume, attending an interview) and in the future plan to provide tools for employers to get their target employees by filtering on courses taken, grades, etc.
